Through SIREN you can now
access your files stored in your Home directory.
The server's address is "home.sc.maricopa.edu".
Login Instructions:
You can access files stored in your Home directory from off-campus in two ways:
1. Use an FTP client (FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol) like WS_FTP for Windows and Anarchie or Fetch for the
Macintosh (available for download at many Internet sites).
For users of WS_FTP you must set your host type to: UNIX (Standard).
Once you have installed and configured the FTP software, connect to
home.sc.maricopa.edu. Your userID is the same one you use to login to
SIREN on campus (your eight-letter username). You will be asked to provide
your SIREN password.
You should find yourself in your home directory, and you ought to be able to transfer files back and
forth between school and home.
2. You can also transfer files using the FTP capabilities of your web browser.
