Each Student and Instructor receives a 10Mb disk quotas when their SIREN account is created. With reasonable clean-up this quota has been non restrictive for most applications.

In some situations however the need for increased quotas has been requested. This is typical for Instructors that place course content on the server and for students that are taking several sections that require saving of graphic content and programs.

All increases of quota space must be requested through an Instructor.

Instructors must request the increases through SIREN Support.

The following information is needed:

  • Instructor's name and E-Mail address
  • Section that is in need of the increase
  • Amount of increase needed per student (5Mb, 10Mb)
  • Reason for request (Graphics, CAD, ect...)

If a single account needs the increase, replace the Section number with the persons; Full Name (Last, First Middle and username if possible).
We often have students with the same name. Include the section that you are the Instructor for this student.
