Overview
Faculty members can access rosters for courses they teach using the SIREN system. These rosters are updated daily and contain the student's name, SIREN account username, course grade, active semester, last login time and Email address. Note: default passwords are not accepted. If your account has never been used, you will need to set your password from a Windows PC in a Lab or Classroom. A warning: Remember that some of this information is private and should not be used in public environments or sent to public printers. The rosters appear in two formats. The Browser version contains just the SIREN Username, the student's name, withdrawal status, and the last login date and time. A very recent date may indicate a frequent or current user; a date several months old might predict that a student had forgotten his or her password. No login date indicates a new user. The Spreadsheet version contains the same information in Excel format, but the name is broken out into separate fields so that it can be manipulated for merging. |
