Access from SCC Campus Labs and Classrooms is done through a
Novell Client based login. When sitting at a workstation you will be
greeted by a Login screen. The following instructions will guide you
through the Login process. Instructions and support for new clients on
the system are available in our Labs.

Username: Erase "tuser" and add your username
[1st initial + middle initial + 1st six letters of your last name]
(all small letters, no spaces).
If you didn’t register with a middle name
[1st initial + 1st seven letters of your last name]

Ex. John D. Doe = jddoe or Jane E. Johnson = jejohnson

Password: The first time you log in, the password will be your Student ID/Social Security Number. When it asks for your "Old Password", this is your social security number/student ID. On non Macintosh computers' It will then force you to change it. The new password must be at least 6 characters long (letters and/or numbers). Your newly chosen password will be your permanent password. If you forget it, ask the computer lab support staff to reset it.

Each student at SCC is given a 10Mb (default) Home directory for their Instructional use. To access your Home directory you only need to use the "H:" drive after logging into your account.
