Each student at SCC is given a 10Mb (default) Home directory for their Instructional use. To access your Home directory you only need to use the "H:" drive after logging into your account.

How to determine the size of your server space and space available.

1. Start Windows Explorer

Select the icon located on the Task bar next to the Start Button in the lower left hand corner of your screen.

You should see a screen similar to:

2.Right Click on Your Student Drive.Yours is the (H:) Drive—it will start with your login name.
(e.g. tuser on 'Sc_nwsrv1\files\t\u' (H:))

You will see a pop-up menu similar to:

3. Click on the last option-'Properties'

A window will open displaying your Student Drive Space

The blue shows 'used space'
The red shows 'free space'
And the capacity shows total allotted space.
